Dave, Jack and I traveled to Slidell, LA for Beth's wedding! What a blast. We visited with Jack's Great-Paw Paw for the first time. Granny and Pop's watched Jack on Friday night so Dave and I could go to the wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner.
The rehearsal dinner was in Pass Christian, MS in a beautifully restored home on the beach. Unfortunately, it was one of the only homes in the area. I must request that all who read this continue to pray for those affected by Hurricane Katrina. We gave a ride to two of the other Bridesmaids and ended up driving by the plot of land where their houses once stood. It was very emotional to see the devastation. I could not imagine losing everything the way they have.
On Saturday, we attended Beth's wedding and had such a great time. We even got a picture with the Bride! Although the weekend was busy, it was so wonderful to spend time with our loved ones!
